Company Director/Sales Marketing
Julia is the company's director and oversees the successful running of the company. Being part of a group comprising of a highly competent and dedicated team of professionals. She never shies away from a challenge and is humble enough to seek guidance from other professionals if needed. Julia comes to the company with a wealth of knowledge and over 19 years of experience in the painting and decorating industry both in the office and on site.
Her knowledge of the painting industry comprises of marketing, sales, accounts and administration. Working within WPHS guidelines and comprising health and safety guidelines for the painting industry, including organising and implementing safe work method statements and various health and safety guidelines for specific construction sites.
Not afraid to roll her sleeves up, she has also got hands-on experience on site with surface preparation, brush and roller painting both internal and external.
Site Manager / Head Estimator
Allan has over 35 years of experience in the painting industry, 15 years of which he successfully managed his own Qld based painting company. Elegant Impressions operated primarily in the Qld & NSW residential and commercial markets. After moving on from Elegant Impressions Allan worked as the Site Manager for a medium sized commercial painting company.
He has now joined our team within Austral Coatings as the new site manager and head estimator, undertaking a combination of residential and commercial projects. He will be working directly on site painting as well as supervising other team members. When he's not working hands on Allan is out meeting new clients and estimating new jobs.
You will find Allan has a wealth of professional and hands on knowledge about the painting industry. He is passionate about delivering quality work he is a competent and dedicated team member. Allan's ability to motivate and inspire any team member is invaluable to this company and he regularly holds communication and team building activities.
Allan is a member of the Master Painters Association, holding both Qld and NSW painting licenses. Throughout his career, he has trained a number of highly skillful apprentices and won a few awards along the way all through the NSW & QLD apprenticeships board.
Site Supervisor & Team Leader

Paul is a Qualified painter & Decorator from Island, currently holding his white card, blue card, working with heights certificate, Elevated work platform, work place health & safety competent and current first Aid certificate. His quality of workmanship is second to none, and wealth of knowledge is vast. He continues to support and encourage our younger and less experienced team members with his dedication to perfection and attention to detail.
